Cams are finally in

Put the 262 cams in and what a difference. I have noticed a couple times it cuts out all together and the car dies!

I havent got the car tuned yet but does anyone know what would cause that? Air idle control maybe?

Probably just needs a tune. Plus, the PCM will need to learn around the added airflow to keep it from stalling. My GT did the same thing right after I installed and O/R-H. It learned quickly though, but I wouldnt wait on getting the tune. For best performance, the car should really be tuned after an engine mod like that.

Thanks F4Merlin....I noticed that at a stop light, it would idle with no problems but sometimes when I would get ready to put it in first or reverse and not give it some good gas is when it would periodically die. I am getting the tune in a week so they can check my air/fuel with the 100 shot of nitrous.

You need a tune, stalling is normal. Might get better after driving it for a bit but it still needs to be dialed in.
