getting power from a 5.4 2v
I just recently came across a 5.4 2v, and the thought crossed my mind to do a swap in my 1990 LX. I know that people have done these swaps in the newer models, but not many in the older ones like mine. I have had a 5.0 with tons of power, but this is something that i guess i just consider a challenge. I wanted to make something that is one of a kind, so i decided to go for it. The only problem that i have run into, or people have told me, is that it is a lot harder to get the same power out of a 2v as it would be a 4v. Do yall have any suggestions on what i can do to my 2v to really turn it into one hell of a motor? Any suggestions on cams, intakes, heads, etc.

ok well im not an EXPERT on the 5.4 like 330cubegt or r3dn3ck is but if you do that in a foxbody and you want a challenge go 4v. on top of that the power is just immense, and thats a step above the 2v 5.4 which is tremendous as is. the 4v costs more money than the 2v and is much harder to get to work because of the lack of aftermarket parts i guess that are readily available to it. basically the 2v, for me at least, is just a bolt in engine except for the intake manifold.
