Headlight Question?

My car failed safety inspection due to low light output. Like many others I have the hazed headlight issue. I was considering replacing with Projector Headlights. I know I need ones with amber side reflectors. I am considering these. Does anyone have these, and if so what do they think? It says the ion projector is purple. What does that mean? Will the light be a purple tint? How purple is it? Do all projectors have this purple ion?

http://blueovalindustries.bluekeyinc...p?pid=99012919

Thanks in advance for your help!

its not going to be purple at all. it'll probably even come with a shitty bulb that puts out even less than the ones you have now do. just buy some new bulbs when you buy these headlamps and you'll be much happier it's like a $40.00 upgrade. i bought the dual halo projectors for mine and the bubls it came with SUCKED

I had already planned on buying new bulbs because I had heard they suck. Do you have a picture of how yours look? I would like to see them in the day, not lit, and at night, lit.

Thanks

i say just buy some stock 02-04 headlights off ebay. the projector headlights just look like they belong on a import, not a american made mustang

i think they look amazing on my ride but nevertheless, i got them from American Muscle it was a $40.00 upgrade to get the luminics bulbs. If you're looking for the blue or purple lights like you see on the beamers you'll need to shell out another couple hundred for an HID conversion kit

Wow, so many opinions here. Im gonna say everyone customizes their cars ther way they think looks good. So i dont like to say it looks ricey or not. I think it looks fine.

As for the lights, if you go aftermarket they may still fail you because it didnt come on the car. So im gonna agree with White....go back to stock.

heh the previous owner slid it off the road and into some bushes scraping the driver side up pretty bad he replaced it with the z3 style carbon fiber fenders. they look pretty sleek in person and i like them a lot. and yes actually they are perfect for the purge line
