a lil help plz


i have a 98 gt and whenever i turn sharp it seems to make kind of a clunking/skreaching/squeaky noise like obviously something isnt rite, has anybody had this problem be4 or any idea what it could be?

Something with the front suspension. Most likely a wheel bearing but could also be a ball joint or tie rod.

tie rod ends and balljoints on these cars can make that noise.

There are bushings on the tie rod ends too, check them 1st then proceed.....

There are bushings on the tie rod ends too, check them 1st then proceed.....
Care to explain this one? How does a tie rod end have a bushing on it? A tie rod end is the end of the steering rack. Its made up of a steel threaded internally rod with a ball and socket end with a boot over it protecting the grease.

I had that problem before and the first thing to check is the shock mount towers , open your hood and look at the mount c if u can tighten up the 3 nuts on the tower this was causing my problem they got loose and the shocks were not stable so when u turn it would create that crunk good luck.
