lookin for temporary brake rotors


i got a 01 mustang gt and i need some new rotors, but i cant get the upgraded set yet (i want some baers) so i want to know what other ford vehicles used the same rotor as our cars ... im gonna be junk yard huntn lol.... as i said its only temporary

I'd just skip the junkyard and hit up your local cheap partshouse. Rotors are usually less than $30/piece.

rockauto.com has 'em if your not near an auto parts store. 25 each for rear and 30 each for the front

even though that doesnt answer your question...

Actually, you can use RockAuto to answer these sorts of questions. Once you pull up your car's parts, click on the part number in blue and it will give you a list of all other cars that used that part number. This isn't 100% infallible, but it can be very handy.

In your case, other possible donors are '94-'04 Mustangs. There is a bit of ambiguity in RockAuto about whether Bullitt rotors fit, so I checked part numbers on Alldata - the V6 and GT models have the same rotors, Cobra and Bullitt models are different.
