shocks for BBK specific rates

I've settled on the BBK Specific rate springs.

small increase in performance, small decrease in height, not too stiff, but stiffer than stock. I know I should probably get new shocks to go with them, unless you CAN use stock ones. What do you guys think would be the best shock to go with them? Do I NEED new shocks?

These are pretty similar is spring rate to the eibach pro-kit springs. I would say that their shocks would work well. Or a set of tokico Blues would work great. Just enough shock for those springs and decent quality. You could of course step up to a stiffer set of shocks if you would like, but it is not necessary.

Also, for a 1.5" drop and those springs, the stock shocks will work enough for a bit. I would recommend upgrading as the stock ones are most likely work out already, and they are designed for a slightly different range of motion due to the stock ride height distance, bu they will work fine if you need a couple months to save up for the shocks.

Awesome. I'm glad this forum has actual smart people unlike other forums *cough mustangfurums.com cough*

Thank you. however my friend just got sportlines and says they are the best. he said it looks baller, but doesn't know if he needs CC plates. they drop 2 inches right on the money so I wasn't sure, cuz in your pimpin guide you said MORE than 2 its recommended...

thanks in advance, I wish i could drive up there and shake your hand

with a 2" drop on the dot its a judgement call. He probably should get them if he plans to do some hard core driving. But if its mostly a daily driver, and he can get it into an acceptable alignment. He doesn't really need them. A camber bolt should be enough to get him in alignment if he is off.

thanks man. what would MM do without you? we'd prob all have squishy squashy shocks and rock hard springs, with positive camber on the left wheels, negative on the right, and cheese camber on the steering wheel. again, the ADHD makes for odd jokes
