lookin for some info from any of you 5.4 or 5.4 swap guys

i dont know how many of you have done it or how many of you are usin an automatic behind it but i want to know if the 4r75w trans bolts up to a 5.4 motor.... it looks as though it has the same bolt pattern as the 4r100... (i think thats wrong but the big tank tranny that the trucks have)
but i havnt seen them side by side to compare. let me know what yall think

unless you bought the trans & know it's a 4r75w, you most likely have a 4r70w, very important in some tuning instances, so you need to know for shure. that being said, yes either trans will bolt up to a 5.4.

thats what i needed to know thanks alot.... on another note i assumed that the transmission that came in my car was a 4r75w because thats what i heard they changed them to in the edge body cars.... i could be wrong but thanks for the info

the ONLY new edge car to get a 4r75w from the factory was the mach 1. you have a 4r70w (still extremely strong, dont worry)
