tuner Q?

Don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but i was wondering if there was a tuner out there that i could buy that could be used on my 96 gt, and my 07 gt. (and possibly my uncle's 99-04 stang).

yes but you will need to buy 3 seperate tuners, if a tuner you bought could work on many cars then that means a friend could buy one and let everyone he knows use his tuner to help there car. But if you buy 3 xcal2 or predators then ya sure

If a tuner could only be used on one car, than why do people buy used ones on ebay?

cause they get them unmarried, and they put the stock program back on the car, in other words you cannot run 1 tuner for more than one cars tune, like you can't put a tune on your car, have your buddy drive up and say hey lets put a tune on your car now, then say he you with a mustang you want a free tune. They would never make any money that way. But yes you can buy 1 tuner, put the tune on your car, then take it off and put it back to stock, then go to your friends car and put a tune on his, then take the tune back and put the car back to stock, then so on and so on, so in other words NO YOU CANT USE 1 TUNER TO TUNE 3 DIFFERENT CARS.

ok. so for the tunes i would need 3 differant tuners. What if i bought the tuner for my '07 and tuned it... then in a few months i bought gears for the 99-04 and wanted my speedo fixed. If i was tight on money would it be better to return to stock settings on tuner and change the speedo on 99-04, or save up and just buy another tuner with the gears. ...thanks for the help.

not to mention that the 05+ cars use the new spanish oak computer so even if you used a tuner on your 96, then unmarried it, it would not work in your 07
