performance builds /life expectancy of 4r70w
ive got an automatic 01 gt... and i have read a few articles here and there on the trans that kinda worries me and makes me want to know more about either building it (4r70w) or gettin something better.
1. can any one tell why is it bad for the trans to shift into overdrive under WOT 2.i know some places can beef up this transmission but does it affect the strength of the over drive for racing purposes? the reason i want to try and build this transmission is because for the while ive been using it, it has proven very reliable for street and track use and i absolutly love this thing so if possible i id like to hold on to it and continue to use it

destroy in the turns, then obliterate on the straightaway 01 GT 4.6/20 over cold air intake/70 mm throttle body mac longtube headers/custome H pipe/moroso spiral mufflers to side exhaust computer tune race seats / 5 point harness
