Nitrous

I know I dont have a gt, but I dont see why it would relate to this.. If a gt or any mustang had a forged shortblock and everything needed like injectors and such. How big of a nitrous shot could a car take safely?

If you have the fuel for it, with a forged block you could easily go to 200-250 shot. I am not a N2O guru so I would wait for those opinions. I know several guys that run 175-200 shots on stock 302 blocks. Not saying how long they will hold up but they commonly do that.

It depends on the internals you invest in for your forged block. With the right internals, you could run as big a shot as you could afford. Plate systems can get you some really large dosages of N2O. :award

O, I guess that would be the case... I was just thinking like a stroked 4.6 to a 5.0 and whatever forged internals that came with it.. I'm not to good yet with all of this stuff lol..

200 is about the biggest you can go with our motors, because you will have to go with a plate kit, get a seperate fuel cell just for the nitrous to cure the lean spike on the start of the hit. It doesn't matter what internals you have when you take a large lean spike rods bend and pistons get holes in them.
