wut else could it b
had a bad tappin noise at idle and got worse when rpm got higher so i took out the heads got a valve job changed the lifters or lash adjusters or wut ever their called put every thing back started it up and still have the tappin noise not as bad but when rpm goes past 2 it sounds real bad wut could it b

Did the noise start out as a tapping sound, or did your car start making another noise that evolved into a tapping sound?
Have you tried narrowing down where the noise is coming from specifically?

I am guessing that the valve guides were checked when the valve job was done?

Are you getting oil up top? Sounds like the noise my 2.3L made when the oil pickup tube broke off.

when i bought it it had a light tap but then i red lined 1st and 2nd (dont know why im just stupid) thats when it got real bad then i changed wut i said
