Whaat are the stock gears in a 01 GT? How can i tell if my car has been lowered? Do both rear wheels spin or just one when i accelerate? All questions are for 2001 GT.

stock gears - 3.27

lowered - does the car look like it is a 4x4 truck??

both should spin - if they don't, you need to rebuild your rear-end or upgrade

both tires should spin when you do a burnout. if that is what you are asking.

how big is the gap between the top of your tire and the wheel well?

its 2 inches to the top of the tire and less than 2 to where the tread stops going down the side.

rev like around 4. feather it to keep it there, then dump clutch and slam brake, keeping the revvs around four or so...maybe a lil more. you gotta hold the break at a certain pressure to or else you start to slide forward.

at this time i would like to remove any responsibility here on having to do with the physical condition of your car. any dangerous actions attempted are solely based on your own personal will....so yeah whatever you do its not my fault

push the clutch pedal to the floor, rev the car, then just dump the clutch, its simple, if you want to do a burnout and not move forward push the brake, but if you just want to spin the tires just rev it and dump the clutch, feather the gas to keep the tires spinning.. its really easy

You'll be able to tell if it's lowered or not. There's only 20,000,000,000 other mustangs to compare to, OR you can just look at the springs...and the 8.8's have trac-loc so both should be spinning or it needs to be rebuilt. To do an easy burnout in a stick just barely roll in 1st and hit brake and gas at same time. Thats why i love my auto.

when he says dump the cluch. he means let go of it. and hold the brake at a certain pressure.

both wheels should spin, no matter what your doing going straight or turning.

I've never dumped the clutch while doing a burnout. Left foot pushes in the clutch. Right hold the brake down and gives it gas (toe on gas, heal on brake). Once you get the RPMs up, let out of the clutch fairly quickly but you don't have to dump it.

This is bad for just about everything in the drivetrain.

yep the stock gears in a GT are 3.27's. in a Moch 1 they are 3.55's. burnouts in a manual are crazy easy. oh and donuts are just as easy and fun. to tell if it's lowered come park next to mine, it's dropped and inch
