What's diff about 98 GT fuel system?

Can someone explain or point me to a write up about what makes the fuel system on the 98 GT different? I've been looking at fuel rails but no one seems to have any listed for the 98. Except for Steeda and UPR but i've heard people say that they don't really work on the 98??

Here's what steeda says about their fuel rails.....

Steeda Hi-Flow Fuel Rails(GT, Bullitt,FRPP 2v 4.6L Intake) 96-04
Fuel line plumbing & fabrication is required. Designed to be used with aftermarket return-style racing fuel systems. Will not connect to factory fuel line fittings. Designed to clear coil-pack distributorless ignition systems on 99-04 GT SOHC engines when used with aftermarket fuel systems. Some 1998 GTs and Cobras have the new style fuel systems

What's the new style? Heck whats the old style? And how do i know which i have?

99 And up is Return-less

98 below is Return fuel system.

The problem with the 98 is the fuel pump and sender are built into one. So you cant do one without the other. also they dont sell aftermarket pumps for it, because of this reason and its a pain in the ass to upgrade the 98.

the 98 has a different fuel rail, with the fuel pressure regulator built into the rail. Its a big mess and the great people at work can be the ones to thank for this. I had to get a new fuel rail because of it and almost went to a 97 rail and tank so i could upgrade. But it never happened

So 98 is the only year with the pump and sender built as one? And the only way to boost fuel pressure is with an inline pump?

I bought this car with the intention of supercharging it...i know Procharger includes an inline pump with their kit but what are my options if i go the Vortech route?

Steeda mentioned SOME 98's have the new style system...is that true? And from looking at the fuel rails what can i look for to tell me which one i have?

You CAN S/c them, you just need an inline pump. thatsall.
