I will be honest in my response. You are going to need a complete engine swap and bore the engine 2X twice and it's loosing to my 350Z Nismod' killer. Buy a new car.

Wow, this is a pretty old thread. I'll chip in my 2 cents anyway. I'm not Mr. Money, but $10,000 is not enough to properly run that kind of power, and have it be usable.

Start with actually making your vehicle ABLE to handle, and hook up with 400 RWHP. Torque arm setup, coil-over conversion, lower control arms, panhard bar, subframe connectors, a small 4 or 6 point cage, a stronger driveshaft, (preferably aluminum or carbon fiber). A built T-45 or TR-3650 would do, probably would actually do fine in stock form, for a little while anyway. Beefed up rear. Then you have to start on your fuel system. Better flowing fuel pump, bigger injectors.

No one wants to get a grip on reality and hear all of this stuff, but it's 100% true. Without decent drag radials, upgraded suspension, you absolutely will not be able to hook up with 450 RWHP. Then when you do manage to hook up, you'll twist the hell out of your body without the use of subframe connectors or a decent 4 or 6 point cage, as mentioned.

These are just the bare essentials required for this kind of power, unless you plan on bragging about the power, and not effectively using it. A stock 260 HP P.I. GT will feel like a 300 HP car with an upgraded suspension, you know, Torque arm, panhard bar, decent LCA's, drag radials. It will perform like a 300 HP car too, easily.

O.P. if you still watch this thread, do what a few people have mentioned, invest in a P.I. engine. Have your heads ported, and start upgrading the suspension. That would be a very good step in the right direction, instead of aimlessly adding 200+ RWHP and being outperformed by cars with 100 less RWHP.

+1 to Kevin's post.
I was so close to buying this 532 Rear Wheel Horse Power Cobra and it wouldn't hook up in almost all the gears. It did have A lot of the mods to support the power, besides the weight.
