I'm planning a standard swap now that I got a good job.
I don't want a t-56 tho. I want to start of small and get the stock manual tranny that came in the 01 mustang. I hear they suck tho but with some upgrades on them they can do real well. I don't plan on F/I for my stang. N/A all the way for me.
What you guys think? |

hmmm i haven't really had any issues with my tranny on my 01 bullitt... occasionally when i'm racing 3rd sticks but very seldom... and i haven't compared it to other mustang trany's so i'm not to sure but i hope someone gives you a better answer cause i'm curious

I think if you're gonna invest the money, the minor difference in price and difficulty justifies getting a better transmission.

i had a 4r70w and went to a TR3650 (01-04 GT trans) and its fine..

I just want a Standard transmission. Hell I don't plan on making my Stang a 400 rwhp DD right now or for a very long time.
