Please Help!!!!! SUPERCHARGED Question


hello all im looking into getting a afm powerpipe. i just wanta see what you all think. first off im hitting about 10-11 lbs now with the stock procharger intake. my tune is really rich at WOT im hitting 10.3 - 10.9 . its a sniper tune. i havent got it dynoed yet. here a list of the mods. thanx for your help!!



WILL A POWER PIPE BE OK WITH MY MODS

Personally i wouldn't want to see more than 11psi on the stock block. Hopefully your tune is spot on and the rods are strong. Lots of people have done it, but there is no way to tell if the rods will hold up.

first off, get rid of that canned tune crap and get a real dyno tune. do you have a wideband to verify A/F ratio's? secondly, 11 lbs plus a power pipe will put you around 12 or 13 lbs. I was around 12 lbs before. won't do it again til i get a built engine. cracked 2 pistons like that.

use the software to lean it out to 11.5 and it will pick up more power than the powerpipe will pick it up , if you are on stock bottom end stay where you are at now , upping the boost will more than likely take out a ringland on the stock pistons before the rods give up ....
