Headers


Im looking for heades for the mach. i dont know if i should go with slp or kooks or what. but what ever it is it has to have a catted pipe.. any suggestions?

I went with the SLP headers, great sound and power adder! I'm guessing you want long tubes? No joke it was the worst install I have ever tried, I gave up and ended up bringing it to a shop to get finished

yea i wanna get long tubes... with the long tubes the car needs to be tuned right? and what did the shop get u for the install?

for the headers should you use 1-3/4 or the 1-5/8

well it was a family friends shop, should have coat me like 8-900 bucks, but only charged me $500, it pays to know people, lol, and they said they gave me a good deal to never tell and other mustang owners to ask them to put headers on

oh and as far as a tune, I havent gotten one yet, and the car runs great! but i do plan to hit the dyno next spring

dam man you lucky. i guess when ever i decide what headers to get. i'll have to see about doing it myself first.. i just know what ever i get they need to be stainless

or ceramic coated, thats what mine are, much betta, but Stainless is alot better then painted

do you have any problem with the ceramic coating coming off. and any rust issues with it?
