man if youre gonna take a 45 minute drive with a v8 you might swell look into some svo's or a fox thunderbird tuboor svo swap those things have better mpg lightwieght and fun to drive with the extra cash you will have you could do some mods on it to spank some 5.0's keep in mind 2.3's were built to last long no offence to v8 owners but they are more reliable i have a daily 2.3 coupe (not turbo swap) that has 250xxx on the clock still running great
