How many bolts on my flywheel????
I am having my clutch and flywheel replaced. I am trying to order parts and need to know how many bolts are in my flywheel. I heard there was a way to tell based on the VIN but I'm not sure about all that. Can anyone help me out??? 1998 GT

A 1998 GT typically has a 6 bolt flywheel.

and i always thought it was funny how the same car could have one of two different engines depending on where it was made. you would think both locations would follow the same blueprints. Is one actually proven to be better than teh other? or are the differences not related to any kind of performance...
