2000 GT LT Headers.... AUTOMATIC....

I am having a BIG problem.... I want to put long tubes on my GT Convert... Problem is it is an auto.... Does anyone know what mods need to be done to fit long tubes? I hear there is an O2 sensor problem... and you may have to grind... Which isn't a problem. Just checking on what some others may have done.

My streering shaft had to come out too, along with my starter, I had the same prob with my Mach being an auto, and most headers are for sticks, so I just called American Muscle and asked them what headers would work, they said SLP and thats what I wanted so I was one happy mofo

There are a few brands that will install on an auto. As has been said before, I'd go with Mac. Decent performance and relatively cheap

MAN... Looks like have two problems... vert.. and auto!! Is it the bottom crossmember causing a problem?? I really don't want to go with shorties though... I asked a Pypes rep what mods could be done... They said they just advise against trying it..!! I was like whatever... That is why it needs to be done!!
