Exhaust Systems!

Hey, I want my exhaust to sound pretty damn good, i like that 5.0 liter hollow sound with off road h pipe and flowmasters, but i heard theat the 4.6 cant really pull that sound off like that. I dont like popcorn sound at all, i was thinking a high flow h pipe and flowmasters maybe? i would really like to look at x-pipes that are high flow because they give more performance.. how much more performance? I want to keep stock headers because i only have like 800 dollars to do this

if your looking for power get a o/r x and magnaflows.
i didn't like the sound of the magnaflows myself so i put flowmaster 40 weldin's in it's place.

sounds good imo

for a deep sound, h-pipes are the way to go. the x will make the exhaust note so much higher. i personally hate flowmaster and recommend either magnaflows, borla stingers, or bassani.

Actually I would recommend the flowmasters with the catless pipes trust me when I tell you they sound better than a 5.0 I had the luxury to have both a 5.0 and a 4.6 my 5.0 had delta series flowmaster mufflers and sounded nice but not nearly as deep as my 4.6 just my opinion!

Thats my 96 GT with off road h-pipe with flowmasters. Just so you can get a good idea of what it will sound like.
