Hopefully this helps give you guys an idea of the actual weight of the items your wanting to remove from the car to drop weight.

This way you can Decide if its worth it, so now you don't have to play the guessing game wondering what each part weighs.

Well if someone did every thing on the list i could only imagine what it would be like.Unless its a All Out Drag car.More or less what 96SOHC has. In my case i have pulled 310lbs out of mine and i have some left to go but nothing crazy im keeping the A/C P/S Etc for now.

Thats a good idea although its Fiberglass an aftermarket hood may be lighter.

At the track I take out the passenger seat.
I have taken out the spare/jack but seem to launch more consistently with the extra weight on the rear end (I guess I suck!).

I've already taken the A/C out and replaced it with a delete-pully. I don't miss the A/C actually (I'm more of a windows down kinda person).

You need to pick up a Manual Seat track from a car at the local junk yard or look around on the forums for a track i see them from time to time.Im actually doing this to my Daily because the seat motor is taking a poop.

You can make your on RSD for Cheap...
Dog bone don't do anything at all that i know of, Its like a sound dampener for the rear. Im not sure what the black boxes are for either, some one once told me but i forget as they have no real point in being there i took them off. They dont weight much at all tho...

With a Extreeme duty LCA you will probably be ok with ditching the Quad shocks and brackets there to eliminate wheel hop but most remove them with no issues.the MOTT Bar is a different name for DOG BONG lol... I combined my list with another guys list so i over looked that.

On a side note, i still have leather front seats, Power steering, Power brakes, A/C and bumpers. Still want to be able to daily drive the car when done and i have dropped just over 500Lbs out of this car.

Damn lol very nice,those seats is what weigh the most.I even heard of people removing front and rear bumper supports and replaceing it with fiberglass bumper supports and its funny because i seen a few at the junker.Dont forget the driver mod,lose weight and 100pounds off too!!!

Most people don't realize how much a car can be thrown off by uneven weight distribution. So I say, save the air conditioning and shed some unwanted pounds from yourself! haha awesome post though
