The new mustang is going to depress me. I won't be able to hang with it unless i were to put LOTS of money into my car

You can. Swap in the new 5.0 in your car. It can be done as it reads - the trans bell and engine mount bolt pattern remains the same as the 4.6L mod motor had.

How to control the cams variable timing might need an after-market add-on, though.

P.70

"Rods are more than enough for n/a and 7k rpm's, but will not survive forced induction."

Seems the only flaw I've read so far...

So its the same as the 4.6 only flows way better and puts out way better power stock. Sounds like a solid platform for some 351 rivaling power.

What it sounds like to me is a killer engine swap for us!

Plus aluminum block, plus smaller size so it doesn't absorb your entire enging bay.

I'm pretty excited. Bet its a year before enyone can get one for a swap though.

Agree. They did a super good job on that article. So much more detail than I expected any of the mags would do. I had to go out and buy that issue after I seen these scans!

that kinda stuff is why i like that mag, they seem to do more tech than mmff while mmff does more car show-cases. ive read that article like 4 times already.
i wonder if id have to swap the computer along with the engine
