i drove my car with 4.10's across country, getting 30 mpg at 110 mph, and have put over a thousand miles on them on side street/freeway driving locally around southern california, and let me tell you from a very experienced stand point:

you will not be disappointed or annoyed by them. first gear will fly by, but theyre just right if you have a 5 speed.

Yeah I had a 94 mustang with them in it but it ran at 3000 rpm doin 70 and it was hard on it, it run like shit after u got off parkway, but from wat i been told it should be about 2500 rpm in this one. I no it won't hurt gas mileage i just don't want it to be hard on car.

i guess it all comes down to your tranny gears, and the length of them. im not sure if the 05 GT's have much taller gears but this setup on my car is perfect. wouldnt have it any other way.

if youre looking at making the car more fun, and want it to be quicker through each gear, 4.10's are youre winner.

if you worry about MPG at all, you may just want to step down one level of gear ratio.

You'll disappoint yourself if you went with anything besides a 4.10. Good call.

So it won't hurt them on the parkway doing 3,000 rpm for a long distance?

Ok that was the only thing i was worried about because I had a 94 mustang one time with 4.10 and it run like crap after i got off parkway driving 3,000 rpm the whole way but i think that car had more problems.
