mostly if u spray under 3000rpms. if u start spraying under that, the nitrous can puddle up in the intake and back fire, cracking the intake. if u get a window switch and only spray above 3k at WOT you will be fine

when you let off the gas to shift it will stop spraying, since your not at WOT

But besides the nitrous kit, bottle, and that window kit there is nothing else I need for it to be engine safe??
