Drag Radials cheap

I'm looking to buy some drag radials for my car. I'm looking at nitto's 555r. my car has probably has little over 300 hp. these should hook on it shouldn't they? And if u know where a cheaper place is to get some or other drag radials let me know. I was looking at these because my wheels are 17". cheapest place i found was 180 per tire.

300 is about basic horse for stock + intake and tune

i run that exact tire. they hook great, have a long life with daily driver use, and they hook really well.

i have 4.10's and they barely burp shifting into second really hard. you can really feel them working. especially coming from a stock tire.

false. thats for a 2005-2010 mustang where they have the 3valve heads. he is talking about the 1999-2004 model which have the 2valve heads and come with 260hp at the crank. look under his avatar

Yeah. mine only came with 260 bone stock. All I got is headers, x pipe, cold air SCT tuner, and in bout week or 2 it will have 4.10 gears.

there isnt any way you are making that much power with that little bit of work you have done! you might be making 300 to the fly wheel. and another thing them cars never came with 260. it was just rated at that. it really dynoed roughly 230.

but on the tires-- i run those, i love them~ they hook with no problem.

They were 260 at the crank.

OP with your mods i say your about 240-250 at the wheels. Nittos would be a good tire and give you the longest life out of the DR's

I looking at getting some nitrous. Car has some bolt on's but no actual engine work. Wat would be a safe shot to run without hurting my engine wat so ever?

shouldnt be, anything more than that will require a fuel pump. might have to take a degree or two of timing out
