The compression is much higher than a SVT motor as well. Redline is around 7 and fuel shutoff is at 7k.

There, i think thats all i wanted to post.

the redline is 6800rpm

To be honest there are 5 in my home town.. i am buddy's with all the owners.. You are crazy if your trying to say that a bullit is anything more than a special model GT. 14.0+ depending on driver for a stock bullit only 5-10hp over a GT. I know you probably got lied to allot when you bought your car from the steelership, but everyone is trying to tell you the FACTS right now.

To be completely honest with you a good friend of mine owns one here in Virginia...And a good friend of mine owns one in Kentucky...And yes stock for stock there is minimal difference in it and a stock GT...Sorry about your luck...

Do you really think that stock your bullitt could run those times?

By your response I would guess you are the only person in your town with a Bullitt and thus you think it is the hottest $hit since sliced bread...

the only differnce between a bullit and gt is a different intake manifold. It flows just a little bit better. The bullit came out when i was first getting my lisence and i drove one. its a drivers race, its like asking who would win, a SS camaro or a firehawk.

haha, OOPS. I brought this back.

I have driven 6 Bullitts in my career at the dealership. Countless Machs, GT's, SVT, cobras and lightenings. I have driven them all.

And it must really bring you to tears when you bring youre Bullitt to the strip for the first time and pull a mid 14's. haha, because you wont be getting 1.7 60ft's on street tires.

At least they don't think adding a spoiler will drop a second or so. On their FWD whatever.

As far as everything is going I dunno if anything can save this thread but the bullit will have about a 14.2-14.4 1/4 mile on average with a good driver and the GT is the same.

A 03/04 Cobra and a SS camaro is really a drivers race since the Cobra has an IRS. But the Cobra is capable of about 1/2 a sec less than the SS.

This "comparison" is the best thing that has been posted. But I would give the Mach a slight edge over the SS stock for stock. Modded it goes to the Camaro all day long.

'03-'04 Cobra>Mach1>SS=2001 N/A Cobra>Pre 2000 N/A Cobra=Bullit

I have a Bullitt and the best times I have ever seen posted all stock is 13.9 and 14.0. I have driven a stock GT and honestly there really isn't too much difference in power as seat of the pants go. Don't get me wrong I love having my Bullitt and wouldn't trade it for a GT ever. As I stand right now I know I could take on a stock GT granted we both drag them flawlessly, but I have a few mods already. Now on a road course I would say the Bullitt would take a GT stock for stock. As far as the other stangs on the 1/4 I'd have to say the N/A Cobra, Mach, and then a toss up between Terminator and SS. Just my $0.02.
