which is quicker in stock form?

Just curious as to which is quicker in stock form between a Mach one, 03 or 04, an o5 or 06 GT Stang, and a Camaro ss, later model?

A mach 1 would out run a 05-06 Mustang GT and as for an camaro ss the mach 1 should out run that also they had a mach 1 listed at 13.1 in a mustang shootout magazine mm&ff where they ran a cobra convertible at 12.77 a mach 1 at 13.1 so yes the mach 1!

Yeah I heard that the Bullitts are very fast. Saw a black one with Convo rims and it was bad-ass.

I don't know where you are all getting your information, but the clear winner in the proposed "race" (considering all cars stock) would be the SS..........

The SS would win...Now if you throw an 03/04 Cobra in the mix then it would be a tight race between the cobra and ss...

The bullitt is not really that much quicker then the GT...And would get beat by a 99-01 Cobra IMHO...

The bullitts only have 10 more fwhp then the GT (some say 5 and some say 15) so maybe at best 7 more rwhp...

If all cars were stock cobra hands down is the winner the mach 1 and ss would be a drivers race I've seen ss beat mach 1 and mach 1 beat the ss but i beleive with a pro driver the mach 1 would win being that the guys from mm&ff ran it at 13.1 completely stock on street tires and as I said before if you have a time slip of a stock ss running high 12 then show me please then ill take back my statement!

Mach 1 DOHC 4V functional shaker hood and I believe independent suspension just to name a few basically uses a cobra engine from 95-98 I think!

Mustang GT 99-04 2V SOHC stinky suspesion terrible ride height and that stock intake could not suck in air if you drove with the hood off! just to name a few! the only diff between the 99-04 model Gt is I think one had the T-45 transmissin and the other had a 3650 5speed but again not sure!

yea but i wonder how much just .4 gear difference does.. like the difference from 331 to 373 do you think you actually get significantley lower numbers on the 1/4?

stock for stock the mach and ss would be a strict drivers race, i saw an ss run a high 13 and a high 12 and same with the mach. and the bullits are a tenth faster than a stock new edge gt so they will not beat a 99/01 cobra. but dont just turn ur head to the 05 gt they are fast cars, def capable of a low 13 stock 5 spd. but on average the mach and ss would be a drivers race.

dmachine, I'm not sure if you're talking about the fron or rear suspension, but Mach's have solid rear axles. The engines are different from the 95-98, but not by much.

Mach's also come from the factory with subframe connectors, which help stiffen the chassis and transfer weight.

I thought mach 1 used the cobra engine from the years of 96-98 cobra engine is what I was referring to and this is what I meant by the mach 1's suspension the Front Suspension Independent, modified MacPherson strut with Separate spring on lower arm and stabilizer bar!

The mach did have 3.55's yeah. solid rear suspension. Difference suspension package, stiffer springs and lower, tokico shocks, and cobra brakes and subframe connectors were added.

The engine is unique with a difference VIN code. Aluminum block, same heads as 03-04cobra and mauraders. The intake cams are different and used in the trucks, makiing better low end torque curve. The compression is much higher than a SVT motor as well. Redline is around 7 and fuel shutoff is at 7k.

There, i think thats all i wanted to post.
