What would your 50th Annviersary Be?

so sometime in 2013/2014 we'll see the 50th Anniversary Mustang Release.. this is huge a 50 year consecutive prodction muscle car... so assuming you can have anything you want.. or have input to Ford what would be the case on delivery?

1. Get me a Stock GT 5.0 and I'll mod it out..
2. Nothign Beats a Cobra 5.0
3. 289's and that's it!
3. Roush/Shelby/Saleen all the way.. sure it's been 50 years but this car is ULTIMATE!!!
4. V6 Mustang Vert.. fun and reasonable..

or whatever.. if you ford gave you control over the 50th Annv what would you buy/do??? only Red, only origainal colors, only custome colors, all S/C, only V8s.. whatever..

defend your position!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would bring back the real fast back, where even the deck lid it part of the slope. The shelbys should have there tailights go across, instead of the stard.

I would make a 390 for the GT's lol. that may be alittle much but damn it would be sweet.

I want to see a hard top convertible ... nothing but comfort luxury inside ... and I want to see a pallete of new color combinations for the inside and out ... I'd be happy with the power numbers that the 2011 are claiming to have ... but if you want to give me more I'll take more power

i would try to market it twords the youth again, not saying it's not already, but im talking alot more like they did with it's release. then the car for that market would be a gt 5.0 with nothing but roll up windows radio not even cd player, anything that would put the cost of the new stang at the same of what the org's cost *(at todays current market exchange aka if a peice of gum was only a penny in 1964 and now it's $1) but only for a limited time, and only dealers can order them that way it becomes a little harder then some kid off the street to get it, kinda like you have to talk to the dealer to get it, but then they can suck you into buying the upgrades. ex: Sound system, nav., leather. stuff like that. o and has to come with a manual unless changed. but thats my though

Some good ideas.. anyone seen the Iococca.. it's a 'real' fastback.. they only made 45 for the 45th anniversary and one dealer sold them..

My 50th would be a coupe, 5.0 would fine with me, but a 5.4L Roush or Shelby would be ok.. I will buy one, I just need to decide which makes the most sense.. a standard GT is classy, but Roush and Shelby will drop some power and performance, and their ford loyalty make me think it'd be ok to get one..
