Royal Purple
Can anyone explain why it costs $2 per quart more than Mobil 1? I think it is just a waste of money otherwise. Is it that much better?

My MPG went up the first time I used it. 6 MPG. No difference in driving styles and it was all highway miles. I use mobile 1 full synthetic now though. That shits to expensive.

It's only $2/quart more. Even if you change every 3 months that's what... about an extra $40 in oil over the course of an entire year? Royal purple is good for well over 3000+ miles anyways, 3 oil changes/year should be enough.
Lots of people claim to have seen anywhere from 2-6mpg increase in milage, so it's up to you. Your best bet is to give it a shot and make your own decision. |
