91 v 93 octane with the tuner?

So I just got the car tuned (SCT) for 93.. so I'm wondering (looking for stations with 93)

1. who typically has it, I know Sunoco locally does..

2. can I run 91 and be ok or do I need to toss in a octane boost with 91 if I can't get to an 93 station..

UPDATE..if anyone knows I'd still be interested.. but the good news is Rutters carries 93 and they are all over the place by me.. and sunoco.

If you are tuned for 93 then run it. You can run 91 , but I wouldn't beat on it too hard if you do. Then again that depends on your mods.

Yeah stick with 93. Most BP's, Kangaroo's, Love's and other places carry all 4 - 83,87,91,and 93. Atleast down here in SC they all do. And I drive the car from here all the way to upstate NY probably twice a year and never have trouble finding 93

Thanks I plan on running nothing but 93.. just wondering if in a pinch I can do 91 without any damage, or just add some octane boost.. Good news is Rutters and Sunoco both stock 93 and are prevelant in my area..

I think becuase of the prices rising I've been getting discount gas and noticed they only stock 91... no longer..

Should probably just spend the cash to get tuned for 91. It is a small tweak in the tune and shouldn't cost much honestly.

U would also be surprised at how many bottles of octane boost it would take to get 91 up to 93.

I wouldn't run the car at all 91. Why take the chance. If you're able to carry 3 tunes at once on ur handheld then have a 91 and 93 and be able to switch if need be.
