05 Shortblock in a 97?
Ok, So I finally pulled the heads off of my car. The valves are all partially stuck out still and the pistons are gouged. Not horribly mind you, but they are gouged a bit.
So, I'm thinking I would like to get a shortblock of some sort. I don't really want to pay for some hopped up block, I just want a normal short block. So the question is. Will I have any issues putting a stock 05+ 4.6l block in my car with my 03' PI heads? I really want the aluminum block, and I don't want to spend a ton of money. I know that isn't easy, but I don't really want to spend $3500 for a MMR 600 Aluminum short block. So pissed, the sleeves of the engine are still crosshatched. Though I don't think the engine has ever been rebuilt. Atleast not to my knowledge.
