Second q" first, you dont need RTV if you do the entire headswap. Thats for the PI intake swap.
first q', When you get the PI intake look at it with the alum facing down...look to the right hand part near the thermostat and you will see a shiney spot about the size of a quarter. Thats where you drill and tap. Its pipe thread by the way. So be careful. I suggest to people taking the sensor and intake and having a machine shop drill and tap. Much easier.

Also where did u find pipe taps cause all i can find are machine taps : ( also for pipe taps is the process of tapping it any differnt then with machine taps? Like what size hole would i drill for it if it is pipe thread? Do i use a 3/8ths drill bit or do i have to use like a tapperd drill bit?
Thanks again |

You do need to use the rtv.
1. at the bottom corner where the timing cover, oil pan, and block meet. 2. at the joint where the heads meet the block before installing the timing cover. 3. where the heads meet the timing cover underneath the valve covers. 4. in the keyway slot on the harmonic balancer.
