Seatbelts

does anyone know why the seatbelts dont retract worth a shit? it pisses me off cause whenever i take off my seatbelt it gets all tangled up and i always end up shutting it in the door. my brothers mustang does it too, is there a way to get the damn things to retract all the way like they're supposed to?

This is a problem that has caused me to almost burn my car to the ground a couple of times. I know how to pull it out just right after driving the car so long, but everybody that rides with me or drives it always F's the seatbelt up.

yeah i really hate that bs too. i cant even get my back seat belts to push in.

in the front, try leaving the belt out of the round thing on the headrest. that seemed to help with mine. you would think ford could have spent 5 more bucks and got some nice ones.

Dont worry about asking a question you think is stupid. if you dont ask how else are you gonna learn. And im sure your not the first to ask this question. its a Technical Services Bulliten.

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is issued when a known problem or condition exists in a certain vehicle(s) and contains a repair for that problem. A TSB can also be issued to notify dealerships of diagnostic procedure changes, modified or improved parts or service manual revisions and updates.

TSBs are "Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty". This means if the vehicle is within it's warranty period, repair as outlined by the TSB is paid for by the manufacturer. If the vehicle is out of warranty, the customer is responsible for the repairs.
