okay first time poster but visits this site on a daily basis.

my car: 2001 mustang gt
mods: jba shortie headers
mac off-road h-pipe
slp powerflo catback
jlt cai


i have had the car since 01 and has remained stock up until a year ago
i have put an amazing 104,000 miles on it sice then. now my question is it sensible to put any major mods on it.

i was thinking of putting gears and cams on it next.

also with the cams i was going to gate stage 1 comp cams is there anything i need to buy to go with it ie. heads or p and p

There is nothing that you really need with the stage 1 cams that don't already come in a package. But I would actually reccomend a cam when you decide on what you want the end result to be. So if you are planning on FI, get that first then get the cam.

Get a good tuner chip first, but yes gears are a MUST. But once again make a plan on what you want before you get serious about any specific gearing. But there is nothing wrong with changing your mind mid run.

i was thinking of supercharging it after i get my gears.

i was looking at saleen superchargers because they seem to have a good price tag.

i'm not looking to put freak amt of horsepower just want to add 60 to 70 and then be done with it.

can i achieve that amt. with just the saleen sc. my car is mostly stock save for cai and full exhaust set-up. and soon 4.10 gears

also what other bolt-ons could i add to further assist the supercharger
perform at it's best beside a good tune which i know is very very
important?
