Motor flush before oil change?

Im about to change my oil and i've always bought a motor flush that I put in the oil and let it idle for 5 minutes, then drain all the old oil out. Then install new fresh oild with new oil filter. My car has 54k miles on it and ive read that doing these type of flushes do more harm than good?Anyone ever use anthing like this or is it just a waste of money? Just want some opinions from you guys, Thanks

Yeah, unless your car has over 75,000 miles you're just causing premature wear. Even then, you only do it once. Or you just don't buy Penzoil, Quaker State, or any other cheap-shit oil that foams and you wouldn't ever have to do it.

OIL and WATER?! What the hell are you talking about?! Stop touching your car immediately. Your man card is being revoked.

Like a blown headgasket. Coolant getting into the oil. I dont know if you've heard of that problem before? It happens every so often.

Yeah, if you have a blown head gasket you'll get coolant in your cylinders...what does that have to do with using a can of engine flush during an oil change? You confuse me, perhaps you can elaborate a bit on your original question, maybe we're talking about 2 different things...
