switchin exhaust

Hey, I just want to gain like a good 10 rwhp so im just doing a pipe and cat back, Im doing a off road x and idk what cat back, hopefully some of you could give me suggestions on which o/r x and catback to use. Another question i have is, wheni want to pass emissions, how long will it take me to put my catted mid pipe back on? will it take me a long time? I dont really have access to a lift and i dont want to pay someone, so does anyone know a good way of doing the pipe and cat back?

hey i promise u that if you scroll through a couple pages of this forum u will find all your answers.

h-pipe will give u a deeper sound and an x-pipe will give you a raspier sound... and slightly better flow. there's not a whole lot of difference between the two, but the x will give u a little more power.

i prefer the sound of the h-pipe. bbk and mac make some good ones that aren't too $$.

try the search function.... there are probably 5000 posts on exhaust. good luck!

Personally I feel that a MAC off road H-pipe and some flowmaster 40's sounds killer. And on the difference in power between the H and the X is very little, and will not be felt in my opinion.
