First visit to the track...

In my previous topic i was talkin about launching and shifting advice and thankx to all who commented it did help...i was running lo 14.7 all day( like 6 or 7 runs) and once hit 14.68... is this roughly what my 98 gt all stock should be running???anyways jus thought id share my experience with you all... thankx again to all that helped... wednesday im gettin 3.73s, custom tune on my xcal2 and flowmaster mufflers so ill update on how much they helped my 1/4 mile time after next weekend

no its not what you should be running....its actually better than average. With CAI and Exhaust i was running 14.5-14.6's. What kinda mods do you have on it ??? Because if youre stock....you should be 15.0-15.2's.

i run 14.5's bone stock with a 97 gt. well... k&n filter if you wanna consider that a mod. lol

Casper, its bone stock man... unless some how a billet grill and new headlights gives me extra hp... would the temperature have anything to do with it, it was like 38 degrees outside all day... if u would like ive got a few of my timeslips... id put them on here so u wouldn't think i was lying to ya.

I run a 13.8 with mine. I have offroad X-pipe, Mac catback, Superchip tune, PI intake, Mickey Thompson DR's, Underdrive pulleys, 3.73 gears, Steeda Tri-ax, BBK CAI, coil packs and wires. I havent gotten it retuned with the PI intake.

I am installing PI cams, BBK plenum and 75mm TB. Then im retuning.

So hopefully i can be lower in the 13's. Then im done with it.

But yeah, good job on the times. I always like to see NPI cars mods and timeslips sop i can compare my times with other peoples. I could dig out some of my 14.5-14.6 times. I think it would be cool to compare.

I ran 14.5 Friday night on a totally stock 03 GT with a 2.3 60ft

This topic is about NPI Mustangs, 96-98 they had 215-225 horse.

99-04 have 260-265

You can do a 14.0 no problem, get that 60foot down to a 2.0.
