1997 saleen question

97 Saleen s281 with no blower and very clean with 89,000 miles... how much would you say it is worth?

I dont have much experiance with Saleens...but basically its a GT with a body kit right? atleast the one with no blower?

Body kit, rims, graphics, new struts, springs, sway bars, poly sway bar bushings, 3.55 gears, serial number plaque on the dash and the firewall. I think that's about it.

Book is around 12K.

So the guy by me is asking for 8,000.. Think I could sell it for more then that? It's real clean haven't drivin it yet. I want it but I don't ya know.. If I could resell for more I will buy it. Lol. They look badaas but I don't want that npi 2v.

It's not a bad deal. Wether or not you can get more for it depends on if someone really wants it. You have to remember that everything is going cheap in this economy. You may not be able to get enough over what you pay for it to make it worth your while.

Yea he said it was a $810 option from saleen when the car was purchesed. Only bassani exhuast with slp loudmouth 1 mufflers. He's had it for the last 5 years and said he felt bad doing any other mods to it.
