01 GT Vert Weight
So last night on my way home from the track, I decided to pull onto a truckers scale, first of all they charged $9 dollars. Don’t know if that’s cheap or expensive, ive never had my car weighted before. So my car weighs 3220lbs. Which leads me to my next question, how accurate are those scales?

pretty accurate, that sounds about right. If there is a drag or circle track around you go there with it theyll have a scale usually its free. At least i know the one at my drag strip is free to use as many times as you want.

if your car doesnt have any weight reduction then i dont think that sounds right at all. one of my old jobs had a scale and my vert weighed in at about 3600 with nothing in the trunk but the spare and nothin in the inside.

yea that doesnt sound right unless you have some pretty serious weight reduction. the stock gt coupes weigh like 3400-ish lbs i think and with yours being a vert it should be about 100-200 lbs on top of THAT weight.
