4.6 externally balanced?

I had a guy at Checkes auto parts aka O'Reilly's try telling me that 4.6's are externally balanced and I'd have to get my flywheel balanced to make my 93 teksid block work w/my manual trans. I told him i've never heard that before. But he also told me my timing stuff wouldnt work from my 03 gt to the 93 block. Anyway just wanted to share that.
