Cleaning you wheels

I was out cleaning my car today and thought about taking my wheels off to clean them on the inside before summer gets here. I was just wanted to see if anyone else does this.

when i built my car last year i used simple green and a brush and scrubbed the hell outa them. it cleaned them up quite a bit. i guess it depends on what kinda crap you have back there.

I do - You can also use some quick detail spray on a rag and do it while they are still mounted if you have wide enough openings and small enough hands. Which is a pain in the ass - but about equal to removing your wheels first.

i take and pull off my wheels and powerwash suspention every 3 months (when i change oil) and use simple green and a sos pad to clean the inside of wheels and the brake calipers (simple green is cheap and works great)
