anyone know how many 97 gt police cars were made?

anyone know how many 97 gt police cars were made?
as i have one but can find no information on them and there hard to get parts for so was wondering how rare they are?

I think only foxes were made into police cars. I am sure there were some 97's siezed and turned into police cars, but I don't think there was a specific fleet. Beside, you would just get regular parts from a 1997 GT mustang for them.

U knw... mustangs must have been a pain to get criminals into... being two door and all.

mustangs were used as pursuit vehicles on highways, no need for a back seat in them. Mostly Highway Patrol had them

That is true, but i know that they still had the cage.

mine is a 97 and did not have a cage or light bar it had were the head lights would flash and it has some cobra parts and some that the dealer said dont come on a mustang such as my front sway bar is huge had a hard time getting bushings for it

I seriously hate how those guys talk for those videos. Its all the same. This vehicaal is turbo charrrged, with all wheel driiive. Same as reporters where they lower their voice at the end of each sentence. They try to hard to make it sound interesting but it ends up being repetitive and annoying.
