what are you looking to do with your car.
trickflow has been known/proven to be a good company. bbk i have herd mixed reviews i personally dont have any bbk products. parts for your cobra are going to be much more pricy then the parts for your gt. but mod for mod the cobra will outpreform it.

Well they both have full exhaust already done the gt has all suspension done just looking for good power mods now for. Both of them. I'd like to work up to turbos or superchargers on them. But I'm looking at intakes and tuners heads and cans now. Just hoping to be pointed in the right direction to start. Buildings some good power from them

The only 4v heads out there are other stock ones, or ported stockers.
If you want more power from the Cobra, you're pretty much looking at cams ($1k just for parts) or boost. While the 4v is an overall better motor, and does make more power with the same mods, I'd build the 2v - parts are more available and cheaper. My opinion is to keep the Cobra what it was intended to be - a Mustang built for the twisties. Leave the power alone, and build the suspension. Use the GT for a hi-po straight line car.

Springs and shocks should interchange between '94-'04, all models other than IRS cars.
The "Except '97 Cobra" bit I believe is with the trans cross member stuff. If you're seeing it elsewhere, try a more suspension-oriented company like Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

On the GT go with the PI swap, CMS stage 2 cams, LT headers, offroad X pipe, catback of your choice and 4.10 gears.
On the Cobra, go LT headers, ORX, catback and 4.56 gears. That is the bolt on repertoire for them. Or you can just slap a blower on and be done with it.

The twisted wedge heads are awesome. I have heard good things about the comp cams and the CMS cams. Both are really good. Tuner is a must. If it were me, I would just get a blower and be done with it. Easier, cheaper and makes more power.

I wouldn't do 4.56s unless you're drag racing it, and friends don't let friends drag race Cobras (well, other than Termies).

Yeah, 4.30's would probably be better for a NA cobra. 3.73 if you plan on supercharging it.
