Looking for a shop within 100 miles of the Chicagoland Area. My Friend has a heavily modded 1999 Cobra that hasn't been running for 3+ years. Some may know the car or have seen it in features or on forums before. The previous owner still has the car on his website, www . beef-cake . net . The car is under "My Rides" and is " '99 Cobra THE BEAST" Something happened with the alternator which shredded the belt. Long story short, he never got around to fixing it so its sat since in his garage with all fluids still in the car. There is ALOT this car needs to get running again, so we are trying to find a shop that wants to tackle something like this. Thanks.

I don't live in Chicago anymore. But a buddy of mine has a guy that does custom work on his s-10 xtreme. He has old camaro's and novas that he rebuilt and made ready to hit the track. It's in Aurora somewhere close to Naperville. I'll give my buddy a call and see if the guy he knows will want to do some work to your friend's car. I don't know of any actual high performance shops. I"ll ask to see where this guy gets his parts if you just want just a shop
