Ride Height Issues
I have a 96 mustang that sits extreamly high in the back. i have nitto nt555 245/45r17's on the front and nitto nt05 315/35r17's on the rear. the front of my car sits about 3 inches off of my tire. the rear of my car on the other hand sits over 6 inches off of the tires. is this normal for a stock suspension? I was thinking about lowering it around 1.5inches to 2 inches to hope to bring it down.
Thanks, TWR

stock suspension does like to wheelgap it up. idk about 6 inches but I remember it being pretty high. Lowering springs will solve your problem.

that other mustang isnt that low because of the side exhaust. But if you went with eibach sportline springs, i think you will achieve what you are looking for

the other mustang is accually a roush. made by roush. the company we bought it from never gave us the side emblems for it, though it is a certified roush mustang stage 2. i was looking at the H&Rspring kit from A.M. because they lower the car 1.75 (rear) and 1.6 (front). how much lower could i go and where could i get that low of a kit?

my mustang is only a v6.. i was going to put the 4.6 v8 in the car but after realizing all of the work to be done for that i decided id just leave my 3.8 in it, stroke it, all the extras, and throw a turbo on it. but right now shes just stock. how will these prings make her handle?

the sportlines are good. if you want lower and even better handling go with coilovers

sportlines are good but you have to take in consideration getting other upgrades with such a aggresive drop.

With the sportlines you will need to get cc plates and new shocks and struts (if you still have stock shocks/struts).

if you don't end up doing all of the above upgrades ith the sportlines then your going to get new front tires real quick.

i never got cc plates....
![]() it altered the caster by like 2 degrees and gave me about .7 degrees more negative camber when adjusted as far as possible. the alignment guy said it should be fine.
