I have tinted windows on my 98 GT. 20% all tha way around except the windshield just has a strip.

I've got it 5% all the way but the windshield love it. With black leather I'd be hating life with out it

i have 5% on the back windows and 28% on the sides... looks really nice IMO...

i have 35% all around except windshield because thats whats legal in my state. wish i would have gone with about 20%!!

5% on the doors and side glasses,havent had time to do the back yet.it has 35 on it....tinting is fun .in the past week i have tinted a 99 durango ,01 ford ranger,kia sportage and a 95 dodge ram. and friday will be a 09 dodge ram

I should get a lil tint. Does the percentage mean the amount of black or amount of clear. for example, does 2% mean barely any tint or like super dark

2% is black. 35% is more see through. so smaller the number the harder it is to see through.

2% would mean it lets 2% of the ambient light through it, so its very dark. i had my windows at 1%(dunno how i got it that dark exactly...) and got a ticket, wonder why?

imo 35% is the cleanest looking tint, not to light, not too dark.

A buddy of mine has double negative (2 layers of 0% from wallmart) on his truck, might as well have painted em black lol. Very bad move especially here in NC where they'll make you peel it off if you're even 1% darker then 32
