exhaust, intake, tune, and a pulley

just bolt ons and you will run with that cammed ls1...will be a heck of a race. pullied cobras run strong

Got it for $15k. I figure for the low miles and auto, that's not horrible.

Well, we raced and he beat me... miserably... it was ridiculous. he apparently is putting down 416rwhp 389rwtq plus his stall and gears. his 1/4 that night was a consistant 11.4-11.5

yeah. i was running 12.8-13.0 on street tires. he was running 11.4-11.5 on drag radials.

12.8 isn't bad... but yeah he's pretty damn quick, i figured he'd be around 400 rwhp. First time drag racing?

First time in a while. I didn't do terrible...

If he's making that much hp to the wheels, about how much is he making to the crank?

He's probably losing about 20% through drivetrain loss so ~500 bhp.

I dunno about that. He just said his buddy was running 11.4's. A basic ported/pullied Cobra is probably not gonna run with that. He's gonna need some help in the way of a solid axle with some suspension, maybe a 75 shot, or even spend some big bucks on a twin screw.

i dont know man.. nothing really can run with a well setup T/A.. with 400rwhp and good DRs they can run 11s all day long.

plenty of port n pulley cobras running 10's n lower..... of course with supporting mods. Injectors, fuel system.

Posi on SVT is in the 9's on a ported eaton, no nitrous..

Werd. I know there are quite a few Eaton cars out there that would rape his buddies T/A, but they are a little more than just port, tune, and 2.76.

Most of those cars are solid axle cars with a TON of weight removed (not literally a ton, but you know what I mean)
