i paid about $475 with tax at some mom and pop shop. if you take it to a known performance shop or Ford or anything like that, expect to pay $800+ i regret paying that now... i've helped 2 friends out with longtubes and we did it in 1 weekend each time

it really isn't that hard and you can do it wihout dropping the kmember its just a long drawn out process that will require some bloody knuckles and a lot of patience. just figure out when u can be without a car for a day or so and get under there with a friend and have ur way with it. use the 800 for something better =)

I paid to have my shorties installed... I know they aren't as hard, but when I went in to pick up the car I dropped off 2 cases of beer... They scratched 100 bucks off the price

I have heard quotes of up to $600 for 4V cars. Do it yourself, you will be glad you did. Not that difficult, just time consuming. Definitely a weekend project but easily done with basic tools, axles stands, and a buddy or two. Good luck.

I have been quoted $450 - $650...

You can do it yourself but just make sure you ahve a weekend to devote to putting these on...Its not a one person job either...And a lift will make your life alot better...
