transmission
in all cobras are the transmissions manual and what about on the gt. im only 16 and haven't ever drove a stick shift and i just feel that it might be a hassle for now and was just wandering thanks.

All cobras are but GTs are not. My car is the first stick I ever drove and now I hate driving automatics it wont be a problem.

Its just no fun! I like being able to control the shift points my self. Sadly the only car that is a 5-speed in my family is mine, so I have to drive automatics most the time.

5 speeds are much more fun I agree, but I do admit when Im tired as hell I get sick of shifting gears sometimes. Nice to drive my explorer when I got the family. Or either I make the wife drive the stang and I ride shotgun.

get the manual.... it's worth learning and it makes you feel like you have so much more control over the car.

i like the auto but i wish i had a way to just push in the clutch to rev upat someone. i dont like putting it in neutral becasue when you put it in gear it jumps unless you wait for it to rev down.

its not hard and its so much more fun I almost bought an automatic lt1 trans am but it got bought before I could get to it and I ended up getting my 5sp gt I had it down in a few days and I don't know if I will ever buy an auto now
